1. The Service

Commentator AI lets you upload a sports clip (up to 90 seconds) and generates AI-written, AI-voiced commentary over it, with optional burned-in captions. You can choose from preset commentators or build your own voice from a text description.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Commentator AI. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Subscriptions & Pricing

Commentator AI offers two subscription plans. All prices are in USD and may vary by region and local taxes.

Starter

• $4.99 per week, billed weekly
• $49.99 per year, billed annually
• Access to the preset commentator library, energy settings, burned-in captions, and sharing

Pro

• $9.99 per week, billed weekly
• $99.99 per year, billed annually
• Everything in Starter, plus custom-built voices and the highest clip generation limits

4. Billing & Cancellation

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage, switch, or cancel your plan at any time in your device's subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. We cannot process billing changes or refunds directly — those are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.

5. Your Content

You keep ownership of the clips you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and transform your clips solely to generate and deliver your commentary. You are responsible for having the rights to any footage you upload.

Third-party AI providers

Processing is carried out by the providers named in our Privacy Policy: Google LLC (Gemini 2.5 Flash on Google Cloud Vertex AI, which analyses the clip and writes the commentary) and ElevenLabs, Inc. (which receives the commentary text only and returns synthesised speech). Each provider's privacy policy is linked from the in-app disclosure and from the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not upload footage you do not own or have permission to use, including broadcast footage you are not licensed to redistribute.
• Do not use custom voice creation to impersonate a real commentator, public figure, or any identifiable person.
• Do not upload illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or violent content.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its rate limits.

7. AI-Generated Output

Commentary is generated automatically and may misread the action, misidentify players or teams, or produce inaccurate statements. Output is for entertainment purposes only and should not be treated as factual reporting.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features, commentators, and generation limits may change over time.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time and request deletion of your data.

10. Disclaimer & Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by updating the date above.
